Established in 1994 Willow Waters Fishery has proved to be a popular venue in Yorkshire for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Willow Waters Fishery is suitable for the keen and experienced angler and those wanting a peaceful rural retreat with convenient fishing.
Comprising of 3 authentic round log cabins (Aylesbury, Brown Owl and our new log cabin Kingfisher), 2 brick built bungalows(Willow and Beech) and 1 timber chalet (Pine).
Willow Waters Lake is 100 years old and set amongst mature trees and boasts an excellent stock of Common Carp, Mirror Carp and many other species of coarse fish including Tench, Bream, Roach, Perch and Pike. This is for the angler who loves a challenge and the wild aspect of fishing. A natural lake that will provide you with some of the best conditioned fish you will ever catch. Many anglers who have caught these prime fish have been coming to Willow Waters Fishery for over 20 years!
Middle Lake is an easier water and less of a challenge and is well stocked with Common Carp , Green Tench , Roach, Bream, Skimmers and Perch.
Pocklington is a picturesque market town situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. A visitor will find a wide range of shops, restaurants, public houses and a weekly market. A sports centre with swimming pool and many leisure facilities is five minutes away from Willow Waters Fishery. There are two golf courses and a gliding club nearby and many walks to be discovered and enjoyed.
This part of Yorkshire offers many tourist attractions. The historic city of York has many places of interest including the National Railway Museum and the beautiful York Minster. The east coast resorts of Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington and Whitby are a short drive away and the North Yorkshire steam railway offers an alternative journey through this part of Yorkshire.
